Every job

  • You see what it pays you, then accept it or decline it with a reason.
  • You choose the kinds of gear you take.
  • You can book a shipment for a walk-in customer at your counter.

When you’re the drop-off shop

  • Take it in. Photograph the front, the back, the serial number or label, and a detail.
  • Pack it to Ramble’s packing standard. Photograph the gear in the box and the top layer, and tick the standard’s lines.
  • Measure and weigh the box, pick the carrier rate, and print the label.
  • Give it to the carrier. Photograph the sealed box with its label on.

When you’re the pickup shop

  • Open the box. Photograph it first, unopened, then the front, the back and a detail.
  • Mark it ready for pickup, and hold it until the receiver comes in with their six-digit pickup code.
  • Hand it over when the person collecting gives you the code, and photograph the handover.

Earn a packing fee, a receiving fee and a price for each service, set by you.

You choose what your time and work costs. Ramble pays you by Stripe transfer every Monday.

  • When you’re the drop-off shop

You earn your packing fee and your services when you hand the box to the carrier.

  • When you’re the pickup shop

You earn your receiving fee and your services when the receiver collects the gear.

  • Paid every Monday

Ramble pays you by Stripe transfer. A payout goes out once the sender and the receiver can no longer report a problem, 7 days after pickup. If one of them reports a problem, it waits until Ramble settles it. Ramble’s margin is the markup it adds to the shipping label and to services.

Questions shops ask before joining

Question 1 of 6
Question
Can I turn a shipment down?
Answer

Yes. Every shipment waits for your shop to accept it, and you see what the job pays first. To turn one down, give a reason: the customers are told, and nothing is charged.
